The Basic Fact About A Low Carb Diet

Does the word "diet" immediately make you think of a horrid weight-loss regimen? If it did, you are probably not alone. For example: the term "diet" are commonly used in marketing food products — it usually describes foods low in calories, such as diet coke, etc. But there is another meaning of this word. "Diet" can also refer to the food and drink a person consumes daily and the mental and physical circumstances connected to eating. Moreover, nutrition involves more than simply eating a “good” diet.
What is a low carb diet?

A low-carb diet is low in carbohydrates, primarily found in sugary foods, pasta and bread. Instead, you eat real foods including protein, natural fats and vegetables. There are many different types of low-carb diets, and studies show that they can cause weight loss and improve health. Moreover, there’s not even any need to count calories or use special products.

Why we need to eating low carb?

- Low carb diets got their popularity for their health benefits.

- According to studies, they benefit diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic diseases, and others. It also leads to weight loss and fat loss, per research.

- So why does a low-carb diet work so well? To understand why low carbs, let's take a look at what it is.Only then, you can see its benefits.

1. Lose weight:

  • Cutting carbs is one of the simplest and most effective ways to lose weight.

  • Studies show that people on low-carb diets lose more weight, faster, than people on low-fat diets... even when the low-fat dieters are actively restricting calories.

  • One of the reasons for this is that low-carb diets tend to get rid of excess water from the body.

  • It is much more appropriate to think of low-carb as a lifestyle, NOT a diet. The only way to succeed in the long-term is to stick to it.

  • However, some people may be able to add in healthier carbs after they have reached their goal weight.

2. Reverse type 2 diabetes:

  • Diabetes's main problem is rooted in high blood sugar and that sugar in the blood usually comes from carbs.

  • For that purpose, many have tried low-carb diets and reversed their type 2 diabetes. By reducing the amount of sugar goes into the blood sugar, insulin level can be better managed.

  • This also removes the risk of developing insulin resistance that may lead to type 2 diabetes. In other words, a low-carb diet help prevents the development of diabetes.

3. Reduce your appetite and curbs hunger:

  • A low carb diet can help you lose weight in many ways. First, it suppresses your hunger and appetite. As a result, it reduces your total daily calories.

  • In fact, hunger is one of the most prominent reasons why dieting fails. With a low-carb diet, it's an automatic reduction in appetite in most cases.

  • The bottom line is a low-carb diet is an effective way to cut your appetite and suppress hunger.

This is a detailed of my meal plan for a low-carb diet for one week. Most importantly, as a chef if my customer need to add a healthier carb that I suggest in my menu that I already recommended to add brown rice, whole grain toast and tofu in the meal.

Below the menu that this is a delicious recipe with high protein and healthy fat for a low carb diet meal.


Three Fishes with Three Herb Salsa

All I know that fish is one of the key factors which supplies the nutrition to the health for everyone. It provides not only high-quality protein but also various vitamins and minerals. But the fact that some fish are better than others, like Tuna and Salmon considered the healthiest. However, maybe it has higher in fat nutrients so people can easily fed up with. That’s why I want to mix them with the sauce to make it like the salad with the olive oil. Let’s do with me and waiting for this perfect combination. Make sure you’re ready to turn to ingredients and method.

INGREDIENTS:

For the fish

  • 1 Salmon fillets

  • 1 Tuna fillets

  • 1 Lionfish fillets

  • 2 table spoons olive oil

For the sauce

  • 100 extra virgin olive oil

  • Zest of one lemon

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • 2 table spoons chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 table spoons capers drained

  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano

  • ½ teaspoon dried mint

  • Salt + Pepper to taste

METHOD:

  1. Mixing everything in a bowl to make the herb sauce. Stir together and wait at least 15 minutes to develop the flavors.

  2. Devide each fillets of fish into 3 pieces. Fry them in the olive oil, beginning with the Salmon because it has the shortest time. Then the Lion fish, with this type of fish, we have to fry it carefully because it’s easily break and the last one is the Tuna.

  3. Arrange them on the way you like, make sure it has enough types of fish and put the sauce over the top. About the remaining sauce, put it alongsid

I felt so curious that whether it was success to combine 3 different types of fish or not. But once I tasted it, I don’t know how to describe our feeling. Just wonder why I didn’t know the perfect combination before. The fatty of fish and the olive oil mixes with the smell of parsley could attract us completely. One little hint that we should use it with rice or some lettuce, it can’t stop you biting the salsa. And don’t forget to fry the fish carefully to have the attracted decoration.
