JUST FRU-IT !!!
I know it sounds super silly when I've just used the well-known Nike's slogan to start off my topic today. But trust me, there is no other better way to talk about this without taking advantage of my low-key creativity, so here it is!

Coming from a tropical country, I am truly blessed being a Vietnamese girl where I can find myself surrounded with tons of different kinds of fruits and vegetables, especially when you, as a girl, are definitely in need of all those kinds of natural and fresh hydration out there!
Of all the sexy-looking and juicy fruits that I feel super lucky to have tasted, I would totally give a huge shout-out to 2 of my favorites which are blueberries and strawberries. In fact, I didn't really have the opportunity to actually taste it back in my home country until I moved to Toronto and took a field trip with my friends to St. Lawrence Market a few months ago, and that was the day I found the true love of my life!

For those who are concerned, St. Lawrence Market is a Toronto landmark and is the largest indoor market in the city. Located at the corner of Front and Jarvis St., the main activity is centered in the South Market with two floors of grocers, food stores and restaurants.
Now you may ask the reasons why I picked these 2? Just simply because you can really feel the freshness and juiciness that they bring the moment they float down to your stomach. It is also noticeable that these types of berries are good for those who are having a strict diet schedule thanks to the huge amount of nutrition they bring to your body.
As far as I am concerned, it is best to buy these berries during the summer, especially from June to September every year when they are at their most freshness. It might cost you a little more but I believe it is still a good investment for your body because who would deny these tempting, juicy and sexy-looking berries?

Chopped Fruit Salad

The fact that the quality of life has been improved leads to significant impacts on health and daily life. Instead of caring about how qualitative it is, most of employees just want to have a meal that is convenient and suitable for their work. Therefore, obesity is becoming an extremely popular issue nowadays. Over-weight people usually said that they don’t have much time for preparing food. But all we know is that there are so many recipes that take roughly from ten to fifteen minutes to do instead of eating fast food. So that’s why today I suggest a handmade salad called chopped fruit salad from Nigella Lawson. Although it is mostly used for diet purposes, it also helps improving our health.
INGREDIENTS:
· 250 grams finely chopped strawberries
· 1 teaspoon pomegranate juice
· 100 grams diced mangos
· ½ teaspoon lime juice
· 150 grams blueberries
· 100 grams vanilla yoghurt (organic)
· 2 teaspoons mixed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)
METHODS:
1. Divided the chopped strawberries in two glasses. Mixing with 1 tablespoon the pomegranate juice.
2. Similar with step 1, add some mangos and ½ teaspoon the lime juice.
3. The surface is covered with the remain ingredients separately: blueberries, yogurt and lastly the seeds.

The moment when I tasted it, I was speechless and overwhelmed. It’s such a perfect combination between the sweet flavor of yoghurt and the sourness of fruits. I highly recommend it for people who are extremely fed up with the greasiness salad or for children to cool off in hot summer. Especially, the aroma of this salad depends on the yoghurt you choose. I chose vanilla flavor to make difference with the taste of fruits.
